Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using True Tone Translator ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and premium users. The App is developed and operated by Siam Labs ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

True Tone Translator provides real-time conversational translation using voice recordings, text input, and camera photo recognition. The App uses third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to process your content and return translations.

3. Fair Use Policy

3.1 Purpose of Limits

To ensure reliable service for all users and to prevent automated abuse, True Tone Translator enforces usage limits based on your subscription tier. These limits are designed to support genuine conversational use — not bulk processing, automated bots, or commercial data extraction.

3.2 Free Tier Daily Limits

Free users receive a daily allowance of translation requests. Limits reset every 24 hours (UTC). The current limits are:

Limits are subject to change. Changes will be announced in the App and on our website at least 14 days in advance.

3.3 Premium Tier

Premium subscribers receive significantly higher daily allowances to support active conversational use. Premium limits are defined in the subscription offering displayed at purchase time. Even Premium users are subject to anti-abuse protections that prevent automated, bot-driven, or commercially excessive usage (see §5).

3.4 Graduated Cooldowns

If our systems detect an unusual request rate that exceeds normal conversational patterns, a temporary cooldown may be applied:

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Plans and Pricing

True Tone Translator Premium is available as a weekly auto-renewing subscription at the price displayed in the Google Play Store at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by country and are set by Google Play.

4.2 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly indicated in the subscription purchase screen. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew at the standard price unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Your Google account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store ("Subscriptions" in Play Store settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Premium access until then.

4.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. We do not issue additional refunds beyond Google Play's standard policy.

4.6 Subscription Restoration

If you switch devices or reinstall the App, use the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings to restore your active subscription.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App to:

• Automate requests using bots, scripts, or any automated tools
• Reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI prompts, API keys, or server logic
• Scrape, harvest, or collect translation outputs in bulk
• Resell or redistribute translations commercially without a separate written agreement
• Circumvent usage limits, cooldowns, or subscription restrictions
• Transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or harmful content through the translation service
• Use the App for real-time surveillance or recording of third parties without their knowledge and consent
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access to the App without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its interface, branding, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of Siam Labs. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Translation outputs generated for you by the App's AI services are for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of your original content (voice, text, photos) submitted to the App.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• Translations will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The AI models will correctly handle all languages, dialects, or accents

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSSES FROM TRANSLATION ERRORS, DATA LOSS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD IF YOU ARE A FREE USER.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
